Mercury launches the world’s first Supercharged FourStroke
 Following the world launch of VeradoTM in February 2004 at the Miami International Boat Show, Mercury Marine has announced the arrival of the world’s first supercharged Mercury and Mariner branded Verado models for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Led by the world’s most powerful 4-stroke outboard, Verado is initially available in Australia and New Zealand in 275hp, 250hp, 225hp and 200hp models and will extend to feature smaller horsepower mid-range models in the near future.

Pinnacle of five years development
The supercharged Verado outboard is the pinnacle of a five-year, $150 million drive to produce the most sophisticated marine propulsion system in history.
Verado is set to redefine the marine industry standard of outboard performance. Every part of the Verado engine (except the propeller nut) has been re-designed and re-engineered to create a new benchmark in outboard design.
